Energy Integration and Alignment (EIA)

The Next Step in CranioSacral Therapy.

How clients might feel before they start treatment

This very light touch healing modality stands on the foundation of CranioSacral Therapy as developed by Dr. John Upledger.   Dr. Upledger identified that any trauma of great enough force often involved the insertion of traumatic energy into the body.  These energetic insertions cause chronic pain and myofascial dysfunction.  Treatment involves the use of craniosacral, myofascial and energy healing techniques in order to remove them from the body.

EIA goes one step further in its understanding of trauma to the body.  For not only does the traumatic energy need to be removed or dissolved, but frequently the trauma itself displaces the energy of the actual bones, organs or other physical structures subjected to the traumatic impact.  These energetic imbalances in the bones and tissues of the body produce weakness, subluxations in the spine, myofascial pain and dysfunction, cranial rhythm disruption, lymphatic flow disruption, compensatory holding patterns, and chronic pain.

How clients often feel after Energy Integration and Alignment

EIA treatment involves identifying the energetic disruption in the bones, locating the displaced energy of the bone, releasing the energy of myofascial constriction or emotional content associated with the original injury or trauma, and then moving and settling the energy back into the bone.  Because the bone energy has often been fragmented, diffusely disbursed, broken or bent, it may take several sessions to reintegrate the bone energy before full healing takes place.

Many times the traumatic impact to the bone has fully dislodged the energy of the bone or organ and moved it into another part of the body.  It may even lodge in other organs or other physiological structures and has even been found to be located outside the physical body, in the subtle energy body.

Once this displaced energy is properly aligned and integrated,  rapid healing and return to full functioning can be expected.  The body returns to its wholeness, and chronic pain disappears.

The success of this work brings into question many assumptions and notions in traditional medicine about the functioning of the nervous system, the development of disease states in organs, and the recovery trajectory in orthopedic and neurological traumatic injury.
